Promota App
In partnership with LG Electronics, I worked on Promota. An all-in-one platform designed to help businesses activate and promote their presence through digital experiences. Built for accessibility and scale, Promota needed an identity that felt approachable, flexible, and instantly recognizable across a wide range of use cases.
I partnered closely with the team to shape a visual system that balanced clarity with character. The result was a colorful, modular identity anchored by friendly iconography, a bold app mark, and a cohesive UI language that could scale across devices and industries.
Understanding the diverse range of industries and content needs was crucial in shaping the template system. A clear framework helped guide design decisions early on, ensuring flexibility without sacrificing consistency.
Through exploration and refinement, we produced 200+ digital signboard templates across 14 distinct business categories. This allowed users to quickly customize and update in-store promotions, then cast content instantly on their displays.
All templates were designed to align seamlessly with the broader brand identity—translating Promota’s fun, colorful, and approachable visual language into a scalable, easy-to-use system.
Promota launched with a complete brand identity designed to support small business owners in delivering better in-store experiences. Through close collaboration, iteration, and user-centered design, the visual system came to life across the app, templates, and digital signage ecosystem.
The result was a cohesive, scalable brand that supported the product at launch—giving businesses the tools to quickly create, update, and display engaging promotions in real time. This project reinforced the value of aligning brand identity with product functionality, ensuring the design not only looked good but worked hard for the people using it.
